Wisconsin Plug-In Electric Vehicle Task Force

Wisconsin Clean Cities (WCC) leads the Plug-In Electric (PEV) Vehicle Task Force for PEV planning in the state of Wisconsin. WCC conducted an initial feasibility study for PEVs in Wisconsin that brought together the volunteer members of the Task Force. The Task Force is a diverse group of 33 stakeholders consisting of municipalities, the State Energy Office, private companies, universities, original equipment manufacturers, dealerships, and enthusiasts.

Task Force members are excited about PEVs with goals to grow the PEV market, educate all audiences about PEVs, and provide comprehensive resources about PEVs to residents in Wisconsin.

To meet these goals, Task Force members work diligently to create solutions to barriers, participate and promote related events or activities, put together educational and marketing materials, and work closely with municipalities and private companies to promote PEV related policies and practices. Most importantly, the Task Force actively seeks funding to implement their solutions.
